A Timeline History of the Nereidonian Civilization

67 BCE β€” A small ship carrying refugees fleeing civil conflict in Egypt arrives in the Caribbean, establishing the hybrid Egyptian and Arawak settlement of Coqui. Coqui is commonly considered the first Nereidonian settlement in northern Ayiti.

47 BCE β€” A second wave of Egyptian refugees arrives after the assassination of Cleopatra, bolstering the population of Nereidonian settlements which spread across Hispaniola and Cuba.

102 CE β€” The different Nereidonian settlements like Alexandria, Nefertiti and Akhenaten have grown over the last century, establishing trade routes between the islands. However, tensions arise as they compete for resources and influence.

152 CE β€” A great gathering of tribal elders led by high priestess Isadora is held in Nereus, leading to a unified Nereidian League with a Council of Elders that brings stability and allows shared development across the islands.

260 CE β€” The volcanic islands of Ayiti and Alliouagana suffer a devastating eruption and earthquake, forcing the Nereidonians to rebuild cities like Theris and Apollonia.

306 CE β€” Christian refugees fleeing persecution in Carthage arrive at the Nereidonian port of Pylos, introducing advanced medical knowledge and glasswork techniques.
