Mission and Purpose
To contribute to the study and appreciation of Mesoamerican cultural heritage through the recovery, conservation, research and exhibition of pre-Columbian and ethnographic objects. The foundation manages collections, promotes repatriation of looted objects and organises exhibitions for educational purposes. Languages: Spanish; materials often translated into English and Indigenous Mayan languages.

Thousands of visitors to travelling exhibitions; over 3,000 repatriated artifacts catalogued as national heritage. Helps prevent illicit trafficking and preserves cultural patrimony; fosters academic research. Recognised by Guatemala’s Ministry of Culture; its collection has been showcased in international exhibitions. Artifact repatriation & collections management – recovers archaeological objects illegally removed from Guatemala and maintains a collection of more than 3,000 objects.
